ASPIRE® Wellness to Kick Off “Active Aging Week

ASPIRE Wellness is excited to announce the upcoming kickoff for “Active Aging Week”  from September 30 to October 4, 2024. Supported by the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA), this week is dedicated to redefining aging with vitality and enthusiasm. The week will feature a range of activities demonstrating how age is just a number, promoting a wellness lifestyle and community connection.

At the heart of this celebration is Passavant Community’s ASPIRE® Wellness program, which focuses on enhancing residents’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being. ASPIRE Wellness will play an important role in the week’s activities, reinforcing the importance of holistic health in every stage of life. Through various wellness-centered initiatives like fitness classes, educational workshops, and social events, ASPIRE continues to inspire a vibrant and active community.

“Our mission is to challenge the way aging is seen and experienced,” said Brian Damaska, ASPIRE® Wellness Manager. “This year’s Active Aging Week is about showing how age is just a number. We are proud to offer a range of activities and educational classes that not only demonstrate the vitality and energy of our residents but also inspire others to lead fuller, healthier lives.”
